A
bespoke broadband tuner unit designed in conjunction with a major
broadcaster for their internal RF cable monitoring system. These are
processor controlled 90 channel units covering 47 -850mHz, with 8 digit
alphanumeric displays, and the ability to reprogramme channel
allocations and names via a link to a PC.
Digital DVB-T and DVB-C versions of both our types of Broadband Tuner
are in development
INPUT: Standard Belling Lee UHF
connector. F type optional. Programming via 9pin D connector.
OUTPUT:
Video and Mono audio on SCART connector, including the SCART control
switching. Headphone monitoring on the front panel with independent
volume control.
DISPLAY:
Eight character display, software programmable to display any message.
Display is clearly readable, bright LED type.
POWER:
Internally mains powered via IEC connector.
PROGRAMMING:
Tuner is supplied with PC software to allow each of the 90 channels to
be programmed with frequency and name.
DIMENSIONS:
Metal housing, 250mm x 250mm x 44mm. A single and dual 19" rack mount
versions are available.

Rack-Mount DTT Tray
This tray unit has been
designed to accept either a DTT or DSAT decoder. The tray has a SCART connector
on the rear, and is supplied with a short double ended cable to link between the
two.
Depending on the option
chosen, the tray has two SDI outputs and a single analogue video output, all on
BNC connectors.
The audio is brought out as
balanced on XLR connectors.
Overall height of the tray
system is 3RU, using a Pace or similar receiver. If a larger receiver is used
this may be exceeded. The electronics are contained in a 1RU case with power
indication
