As part of
installation
work, specific mechanical design and manufacture is carried out. In
addition, several projects are undertaken as with a requirement for
Channel 5 News, to design a complex curved monitor stack used as a
background in the studio. We design and manufacture custom studio
desks and monitor stacks. Also for Channel 5 News a suspended 42"
plasma display was hung on a studio hoist by a specially designed
lightweight support.
ITN Monitor Stacks
We
have designed three bespoke monitor stacks for ITN for their main
studios.
These are designed to cope with 22” Vutrix monitors and hold these at
the correct viewing angle.
The design allows the monitors to be withdrawn and released on
individual slides, so maintenance work can be carried out quickly.
Each monitor can be accessed by either sliding it or it’s neighbour
forward or backwards and lifting the individual monitor off specially
designed mounts.
